Thermal windows, also called insulating glass units (IGU), consist of either a double or triple pane, which means that each part of the window has a sealed space. Insulated Glazing units, also called I-G units when using double glazing or double-glazing for windows and doors. When installing double glazing windows, there are as many options as you can customise your windows. Most Insulated Glazing units are double glazed, use double thermal fixation or are triple glazed, which is becoming more common place in view of higher energy costs.
